Voublêve
I am pleased to introduce you to a unique artist, a creator of universes that continue to expand over time. His work is driven by strong principles and values, almost in resistance to today's world: values that seek to grow, flourish, and expand, despite the concrete that is used against them.
Through his art, he explores a parallel world, both digital and deeply rooted in our earthly reality. A generous earth, equal to all its inhabitants, which asks only one thing in return: time, patience, and love.
This artist has found, through artistic expression, a way to expose what he feels deep within himself. Through a variety of mediums, he opens the doors to his rich, sensitive, and constantly evolving inner world.
His goal? To make the invisible visible. To embark on a quest for what is not immediately apparent. Each of his works invites us to an exploration: of ourselves, of the world, of the unconscious.
Some of his creative universes:
Calligraphy:
Since 2015, he has been developing a unique calligraphy, born from a personal challenge: to write as fast as Eminem raps. From this experimentation emerged forms, letters, and rhythms that question our way of communicating. How is it that with so many languages, we still have so much trouble understanding each other? Each calligraphic work thus becomes a double reading, both visual and symbolic.
Nivertagne:
A word invented to describe his "dreamlike worlds". He draws inspiration from myths, legends and folklore from all continents to create poetic images, sometimes accompanied by haikus, where every detail tells a story.
Nuances:
Against the myth of the "blank page", he responds with action: he covers the sheet with curves, lines, materials (graphite, charcoal, coal), then reveals the hidden forms through meticulous work of nuance.
Tachism:
Like searching for shapes in clouds, he enjoys creating worlds from patches of color. A game of free interpretation, brought to life through a wide range of techniques.
Voublêve:
It's both his artist name and the name of his imaginary twin, who lives in an invisible world. To bring him to life here, he paints with brushes whose tips are made of his own hair. Together, they create a portal between worlds – one explores the other, while the other enters our reality.
